Brightness meter - Brightness analyzer - Imaging brightness meter - P501U Product description:
Brightness meter - Brightness analyzer - Imaging brightness meter - P501U is an intelligent and accurate fast imaging brightness meter from Westboro Photonics, Canada, based on Sony Pregius ® CMOS sensors, with 5 million pixels and high dynamic range, paired with suitable lenses and corresponding Photometrica software, can quickly and accurately measure and analyze brightness. The compact and portable design is easy to integrate into various systems and is widely used in various fields, including measurement and analysis in industries such as automotive, lighting, display, public construction, and artificial intelligence. It has gained the favor and recognition of a large number of customers.
working principle:
Industries related to lighting, such as indoor/outdoor lighting, automotive, aviation electronics, and healthcare, are regulated by global standards and recommendations. For example, the automotive industry must comply with UN ECE (Europe), CMVSS (Canada), or FMVSS (USA) and follow SAE recommendations. These standards define the allowable range and gradient of luminous intensity and color at different test positions under different measurement geometries and working conditions. The traditional method uses a goniometer and point detector, which is called the goniometer method. This method is time-consuming and can burden production and QA testing environments. The imaging method uses a 2-D imaging colorimeter and a diffuse reflectance screen, placing the imaging meter adjacent to the test source and focusing on the image formed on the screen. The system uses perspective transformation algorithm to calibrate the tilt angle of the camera and uses NIST traceable calibration source to calibrate the luminous intensity of the screen imaging system. Compared with the corresponding angle measurement method, the accuracy of this 2D imaging system should be within 10%; The measurement time has been reduced by at least 90%.
